snipers, anybody?

As you probably know being able to sit in one place and not get shot at but shoot from the comfort of the bushes and your ghillie suit (if you have one) is a good thing to be able to do especially on a hot, muggy day in july. If your a noob to paintballor any form of sport or type of recreation (or war for that matter) this is basically what a sniper is. as this is my blog and as it is about woodsball it should be my obligation to write a thorough guide on sniping while playing woodsball, the problem is though is that I am not a sniper, I have a ghille suite but I honestly am more of a run and gun guy, in other words, the anti sniper so heres a link to a blog that  is all about it enjoy,

My spelling!!!!

well i have been complained to by a colleague of mine. And it was on spelling, no, not me typing 1iK3 Th!$ D@WGZ, but  about the fact that I use the European spelling for things like colour , shoppe, and tyre. So please ignore this it was how i was taught english (via BBC and the translated edition of ITAR-TASS communications). thank you and until next time,

bunker ideas....

Well if your reading this then, well you either just stumbled upon my new blog or I captivated you with my last introductory post. well today i will discuss one of the most important parts of Paintball - bunkers. Well for those of you who don't know what a bunker is, well you better be a noob, old shut in, or anything else that might prohibit you from knowing what a bunker is, a bunker reffers to any object on the playing feild that provides cover to a player, there fore in therms o wods ball it could be any thing you have lying around or in your house.

Now for an examples:

pallets - these are often the most common thing to use if you start your own private feild (or public for that matter). all you have to do is take a pallet, lean it up against a tree or secure in place with a T-post.

Plywood- this one should be obvious and actually the same as a pallets

tyres-  Stack them, these, when building bunker are like legos. You can do just about anything with them. And if you find an old tractor tyre and have the rescources (or man and will power) to move it you can easily saw them and have two insta-bunkers.

Hello, and welcome to my blog ,Woodsball warrior's blog, my name is Atarii, I am the admin of this blog. Now, some of you may ask ,what is Woodsball? well comrades Woodsball is the purest and original form of the best sport in the world, Paintball. Actually I was joking about it being the purest form but that's all i play in terms of Paintball because I like to keep it real and stay original (don't believe me? Well I once plaid Paintball in a kilt lol) and I STRONGLY DISLIKE Speedball which takes place in an organizes often symmetrical field where you can't get lost and know what to expect   but, it is the original form of Paintball. Now let me explain Woodsball, well, to put it simply its paint ball played in the woods, often with wooden pallets old fences or sheet metal for bunkers which is why it often appeals to low budget players like me with nothing more than an acre of land a marker(term for paintball gun as it was originally made for marking trees or cattle),a mask(Legal necessity when playing always wear one when near live markers,please). and random junk to make bunkers also maybe a shovel to dig trenches:^).

 So now you know the general background to one of my favorite hobbies, how about the history:

 A long time ago in a land far, far away (haha do you guys like my star wars reference?) in a land called New Hampshire ,in the year of 1981 Anno Domini on the date of June 27. A few men went off into a wooded plot of land and played with then the only form of marker -the Nelspot 007 which was as stated earlier intended for woodsmen and cattle ranchers and stalked and shot at each other for a few ours in a free for all shoot out modeled after the famous short story "The Most Dangerous Game" by Richard Connell (why this story appealed to me in my freshman honors English course).


well that's the story of the history of the glorious game of Paintball. 


and well be ready for my next post it will probably be about bunkers(YAY!) or something along those lines.
